JOHN ERIC PIERCE - Head Instructor

Mr.  Pierce began his martial art training in 1985 studying Tae kwon Do and Aikido at the local community college.   It wasn’t until 1992 that he began his studies of American Kenpo at the Academy of Kenpo Karate under 5th degree black belt Tim Bulot.  He assisted in teaching the children’s and adult classes at the Academy of Kenpo Karate.   On May 11th of 1996 Mr. Pierce received a certification as an instructor of American Kenpo Karate.   On January 9th of 1999 he received his 1st degree black belt in American Kenpo and is also considered a black belt under the Kobu-Kai International.   He continued his training and received his 2nd degree black belt on March 7th of 2001.   He has over fifteen years of martial arts experience and has been teaching in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex for the past 11 years.   He continues his martial arts training to enhance his skills and knowledge of American Kenpo.

As of 2007 he started his own school “Dallas Kenpo Karate” in hopes of creating a school that will produce quality black belts - a school that will teach the concepts, theories, and principles of American Kenpo.   A school where students have a real passion for martial arts that takes precedence over belt ranking.   Dallas Kenpo Karate is a place where family and friends can learn self-defense in a fun and safe environment.
